Dundee Chamber Music Venues
Many Dundee Chamber Music concerts are held in the Marryat Hall, which is part of the same complex as the Caird Hall. Much smaller than the latter, it is an elegant space, about the right size for chamber music, and acoustically almost as blessed as the Caird Hall itself. When the Marryat Hall is not available, Dundee Chamber Music will this year be using either the Steeple Church or Dundee Parish Church (St Mary’s), both of which are within the City Churches complex, Nethergate. The Steeple Church has a welcoming, modern interior with excellent sightlines and sound, while St Mary's is a magnificent traditional church interior where an increasing number of musical events are taking place.
